About the PTO

The Countryside Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an active group of parents and teachers working together to help make Countryside the best it can be. Every Countryside parent or guardian is a member of the PTO. The PTO helps to enhance our children’s school experience through programs such as visiting poets, science programs, an all-school musical; and supports their teachers by providing classroom resources and materials. The PTO builds community spirit and facilitates information sharing. We encourage you to join us and get involved in the Countryside PTO. The infusion of new parents on our PTO committees brings new ideas, energy, and creative talent to help keep our programs dynamic and strong.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Countryside PTO is to enrich our children’s education by:

  • creating an inclusive and welcoming community
  • fostering constructive connections between parents and faculty
  • enhancing campus life through special programs and resources
  • providing financial and in-kind support to support these goals
